    Default Hardtop fabrication/aluminum welding

This past summer I purchased a 22' Fish-Rite Explorer with a full camper top. Although the canvas top is very nice, the wife and I decided we would like to get a hard top put in place for several reasons.

Any recommendations for a quality fabrication, at a fair price, would be greatly appreciated by any who have had such work done, and/or are familiar with the product of an outfit in the MOA/MatSu area.

Of course any pictures of some of that work would be excellent .

Go talk with Gary at Greatland Welding. He is a boat builder and does a LOT of boat mods. My personal experience has been great and reasonably priced. We have had some repairs done and he built a rack over the cabin of my FIL's boat. Definitely worth checking with.

Best bet is probably Gary or Silver Streak in ANC. Both do top quality work from what I have seen and read.

+1 for Gary out at Greatland Welding.

He has done a couple projects on my boat, and I'm very happy with his work.

Go now, before the spring rush starts.

Funny you say that, I was told the same thing by the gentleman I spoke to yesterday, there are already 15 boats in the yard waiting to to be worked on. Going to make an attempt to get it there by the weekend.
