    Cool Soldier Support

    Hello,

I am CPT Todd Miller. I am the Commander of B Company, 1-207th AVN REGT out of Fort Richardson, AK stationed at Victory Base Compound, Iraq. Our Company has several avid hunters. Unfortunately we will not be able to hunt this year; however, Iím looking for companies/groups to sponsor our unit while we are deployed. I am not asking for money. I'm wondering if there is any way you could sponsor us with a few hunting videos or anything that you have available. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    CPT Todd Miller

I will happily see what I can round up. Any particular favorites or requests as to the types of hunts? Feel free to pm me with them

I wanted to bring this back up to the top. I noticed the state flag painted up on some T-walls on Victory base a couple weeks ago along with some Blackhawks wearing a crest I recognized. I finally got the chance to research it this evening and Imagine my surprise when this thread popped up (not sure how I missed it before). It looks like CPT Miller hasn't logged back in since about 10 days after this was posted but I am sure I can track him down and get an update if folks were still looking at shipping some care packages over.

Thought folks may get a kick out of this as well.

Here are a couple pics from nationalguard.com

When I drove by I knew I recognized the crest on the side of these birds!

Hey Lujon, do they take the actual aircraft from here when they are deployed, or just the emblems to be painted on what they are issued?

In most cases, they bring their own aircraft.

In the past they took their own birds.

    LuJon,
Do you know if they have high speed internet over there? If so they might enjoy a link to Salmon Slayer's videos. I know I sure enjoy watching them!

It's good enough to play a video. May take some time to buffer, but worth it!!
