    Default first "woolhead"

well, i came across a dull moment in life(one of the many) and deceided to sit back down at the vise and tie some flies. i had been wanting to try the woolhead technique for a while so i thought i would give it a whirl. i used one of those siwash hooks that comes with a vibrax because it looked like the perfect pike hook.

let me kow how you think i did.
    any tips?

    thanks, from joe

i also tied this "seducer" in hopes of seducing a pike into striking it.

Both flies look fishey, you can fish the woolhead bug with confidence for bull trout/ dollies as well as pike.

As far as the red/white I personally would not bother with the barbell eyes on a pike fly, but I am sure it would work either way.

    Nice ties!

Nice work Joe! I like that woolhead a lot. We'll head north this spring and put those to use on some pike.

Those are nice ties Joe. If I were a fish which I am not but if I was those would be exceptable food sources that is if I were a fish. Congrats on a job well done.
