    Default winter fronts for citabria

    hey guys,
I own a 7ECA with a lycom o-235. Apparently, no one makes winter fronts for it, but I'd like to see higher oil temps. The best I see, with power is 150*. when in the pattern I see a scratch over 100*, gauge starts at 100*.

What can you experienced guys tell me?

    Thanks.

Where's the oil cooler? Rear baffling?
Use some speed tape and close it off.
There are a bunch of cooler ways to do it but that's the easiest and cheapest.

Second what AK-Hunt said. I just use Duct tape to close off the inboard third of the air inlets and that was a great help for my Champ. I still only get the oil temp up to 180-200 and I don't have an oil cooler. My Lycoming runs pretty cool.

Make sure to do the INBOARD third. The outboard needs the air.
