    Default Another--- What the heck is this thing?

    hi again...wife, snagged the bottom, and after a lot of grief, i managed to bring it in.....say, jigging in 60 feet, off the west coast of queen charlotte island in august......we call it the "hemorrhoidal butt fish"..........if i would guess maybe an amenome of some sort?, the other side , if i remember was all blackish?.....thanks larry

    Hmmmm not sure.. but it looks like its made to keep lonely fish happy...

    plumose anemone. The bottom is covered with them in some places.

    do not eat anemones.....that is a very large one, very cool.

    here is a pic i found,,,,sure looks like that's what it is!!.....wow,very nice!!.. what a dif a perm can make!!....larry

    We used to call those "Sea Kittens" or something similar.....
    Ten Hours in that little raft off the AK peninsula, blowin' NW 60, in November.... "the Power of Life and Death is in the Tongue," and Yes, God is Good !

    We have an area down here where we snag those things.. They are always good for a laugh.. We have some very AOD Inappropriate names for them..
