    Default I have a gas auger needs fixed

    I have gas auger I aquired this year having trouble getting it to run anybody got any reccomendations for small engine repairs?

    I don't live in Fairbanks so I can't help you there.
    It would help if you stated what brand of auger and what the brand of the motor is though.
    The motor may have to go to a shop that deals with that particular brand.

    I am assuming you did the obvious and pulled the spark plug to check for spark? If it has spark the second thing I would do is pull the gas tank off and disconnect the hose from the carb to make sure there are no obstructions in the tank or hose. If the gas is flowing I would next spray some starting fluid into the carb re assemble tank and try again. When was the last time it was ran to your knowledge it may have bad gas in the float bowl in the carb. If you can pull on the chord and it turns over it isn't seized up so it is a gas or spark issue or both. So that would be what I would do taking the carb apart is pretty easy. If you cant get it running by doing the above let me know ill take a look at it I am usually pretty handy with stuff like this.
