    any recommendations or places that are still ice free? id like to practice my fly fishing somemore. thanks

    It hasn't been freezing in the valley these past few nights so all the lakes are still open and would guess some of the streams up north would be also. Can't say for sure where but if I had time I'd try a get into some fall pike killing.

    decided to goto good ole willow again this morning. finally got 1 rainbow! first one on the fly rod and it was great. heres the picture, iphone 3g quality. thanks to the guy at 3 rivers this morning that helped me out.

    Thanks for sharing, great trout photo. Is that a Martin multiplier reel? Tight lines.

    it is a martin reel and rod. not sure about specifications on the reel, as it just says martin and im not educated on fly fishing gear yet. are they known for anything good? its the only one i've ever used

    Been 1 weeks since I fished. Coming off my 10 day fishaplooza trip, went back to work and have been swamped. Plus Aces hockey in town the last 2 weekends. Nice fish bud, congrats
