    Default weather reports

What website do you use when checking on the weather conditions up north?

This may help. You click on the zone and type of forecast (marine, aviation, public, etc.). Sometimes they get it right -- sometimes not :-).

Upnorth? Haul Rd. ? There actually aren't many weather stations up that way. I will check Bettles weather, Deadhorse weather, Anituvik Pass (sp?) weather and maybe give a phonecall to ColdFoot...then average all three.

Weather cams for Bettles and other sites http://akweathercams.faa.gov/sitelist.php
current temps at Sagwon Hill...closest weather cam and temps to where most of the 'Bou usually are.. http://ine.uaf.edu/werc/projects/Nor...n/current.html Looks like a nice day up there today.

Looking at that NOAA forcast I can't imagine a better looking week to head up there this time of year. I still won't go because of the rut, but I'd go and shoot cows if I needed meat.
