you must have read my mind. i was about ready to start a poll on here. Most annoying threads.

    Canidates were going to be

    Best handgun for bear
    Best all around hunting gun
where can I find (insert game animal here)
    minimum caliber for bear
    Best sheep gun
    permits are out
    best handgun for carry

Those are just a few that come to mind

use a diesel exhaust cover scent and you should be fine, you only need a handgun for protection at the bus stops by the dimond center mall.

Come on now! Everyone & their uncle knows that the .17HMR is THE best bear gun out there, BAR NONE!

Ethnic Bash threads are also annoying...almost as bad as bash the Military threads, & Bash the guides thread, & bash the Cheechacko threads, bash the L48s threads...

I have to agree those threads annoy the crap out of me! It amazes me that people hunting in the lower 48 can figure out what rifle and such to use but hunting in Alaska requires them to ask everyone and their brother what the best of everything is. Animals are animals and terrain is terrain use some common sense and you will be ok.

The funny part is there are plenty of Alaskans asking these questions not just out of staters!

Before taking any of my advice for granted on here research the legal ramifications thoroughly I am not the Troopers nor am I the Judge that will be presiding over your case/hearing. Please read the hunting and sportfishing regulations and feel free to interpret their meaning on your own.
