    Question 300 Win Mag

Anyone use H1000 in the 300 Win Mag with 200gr Sierra BT and 200gr Accubonds?

I use H1000 for my 7 Mag. with heavy bullets.

It should be a good powder for 300 Mag. You should get more velocity than with some faster powders, and at less pressure.

Just wondering if you have had any luck with accuracy using the Accubonds? I've tried several different powders and loads and not able to get the accuracy I was looking for. I was at the range the other day and another guy was trying to work up a load for his 300 win mag with accubonds and he wasn't getting the results he wanted either.

In general RL 22 and 180 Nosler AB's result in excellent accuracy and velocity in the 300 WM.

Yes Reloader 22 is my go too powder for 180's AB at 76.0 grains in my 300 WM.

I thought about moving up to the 200gr AB and H1000 but after reloading them seems the 79/80 gr powder charge takes up alot of case.....compressed loads....leaves bullet ring on bullet from seater die. So I stratched that ideal........for now!
