    Default new skis!

Well after much thought, visits with a few diffent ski shops. Listening to 6 different suggestions and studying up the 'net I decided on a pair of rossignol BC90's, 3 pin binding, and Rossignol BC X11 boots.

Now I just need to learn to use this equipment.

    Nice set up...

I'm sure you'll be zipping down the trail in no time. The learning curve for XC skiing is pretty short.

I'm hankering for some snowpack now that its cold.

Well I got out for my first real trip. Uhhh.... Nothing like downhill skiing. I actually liked it best going on the flat or uphill. Going down was spent mostly on my face, butt and side. Stopping or at least slowing down is a mystery to me on these things. Turning? forget about it. But, I got down the trail pretty fast on the flats. Just need more practice and lessons I think.
