    Wink Only Three Firearms!

If you had to restrict yourself to only three firearms as a hunter what would you choose? These could be for any area in the US. And lets suppose that they were stock , off the shelf guns and , not custom jobs. Which would you choose? My choice. 1) Remington 700 ADL Old type 30-06. 2) Remington 870 12 gauge. 3) SW 357 Model 27 4 inch. Bill.

With only three of them? I'd wear off the finish (I'm used to cleaning so many)!

    1. Remington 870 express 12ga (am I allowed a 2nd barrel?)
    26" w/ choke tubes
18.5" smoothbore slug barrel w/ rifle sights

    2. Remington 700 .338 Win Mag w/ 26" stainless fluted

    3. Taurus Tracker Titanium 5 shot revolver .41 Mag w/ 4" barrel (comes factory ported)

  4. #4

    Default Only 3

Winchester Model 70 Featherweight 30-06, Marlin lever .22, and my 4" Smith & Wesson .44 Mag. Mountain Revolver.

    Unhappy Only Three!!!!

I refuse to participate in this. Only three, for Pete's sake! How can a guy get by with only three guns. Three guns! I would be the laughing stock of my bridge club. Do you have any idea what I'd have to give up? Three guns!
I thought five was bad, Geez!

    My Dakota M97 338-06
    My Sako A-IV Safari in 375 H&H
My Les Baer 1911, 45 ACP.

Geez, this is hard. I don't need a shotgun but would like to have a 22 lr rifle.

I can't do this just shoot me!
Is there nothing so sacred on this earth that you aren't willing to kill or die for?

Default Please DON'T tell my wife!

    30-06 Rifle controlled feed.
    12ga.
    .22 autoloader pistol.

Makes don't really matter as long as they're quality, and I can shoot them well.

Guess I'm kicked out of the club huh?

You said "as a hunter" so that opens things up sp we can leave out personal protection against the two legged critters right?

Sako Forrester L579 243 Remington (ground hogs, coyotes, to deer and sheep)
Tikka T3 Light S/S 338 Win Mag (caribou to bear)
Winchester 1300 12 ga (rabbits, grouse, ducks)
The individual right to keep and bear arms shall not be denied or infringed by the State or a political subdivision of the State.

    Default my choice

Win. M70 Classic Stainless .338 - for the heavy lifting
Savage 24F (.22LR/20gauge) - for all the little stuff
S&W .44 mag Trail Boss - for close up action and fun

But I agree with everyone else. What a scary concept.

Only three guns, as a hunter (Alaskan hunter), no custom rigs...that's easy:

Browning A-Bolt Stainless Stalker in .375H&H
    ...and the same in .30-06
    Ruger 10/22
