Default good time on the haul road

Well I finally go the time to go on a semi- serious hunt 4 sdays on the haul road for an outside the corridor bull he was with 450 others I was little over 6 miles out there were bigger bulls but he had a good curves I think he looks pretty good me and my buddy packed him 4 miles out after the shot(he was about 250 yds) but had to drop packs and get to the truck so we could make it back before dark that as it got dark we could still see caribou aways out but a grizz came and started chasing some down into a draw and there were no more bou I hoped the bear didnt find my packs and he didnt went and got the the next day and decided to get a good start back to fairbanks

Nicely done! Looks like sleds might have made the packing a bit easier, but good on you for getting it done.

How is the meat? Not too rutty, I hope?
