    Default specklebelly goose

went out on the wetlands to hunt the high tide and ended with 3 ducks and 1 goose... happened to be a specklebelly. The flock flew over really high and i wasnt even going to shoot but i thought what the hell might as well try one shot and the bird folded. Only my second specklebelly ever soo im pretty pumped

Congrats. Now you can join sky busters anonymous.

Just kidding. We've all done it... and sometimes we've even been lucky.

Are specks dark geese or light geese in Alaska bag limits? I want to think they were lumped in with snow geese back home.

    They're considered a dark goose

Page 15: Dark geese include any combination of cackling/Canada and white-fronted geese. White geese include snow and Ross's geese.
Congrats on the speck. Anyone else see the flock of ~25 snows this weekend!?
