    Default Kenai Coho

Heading down to skilak this weekend for some camping and maybe a cast and blast... Anyone getting any Silvers in the middle? I won't venture very far down the outlet of skilak - using a zodiac. Never been into the outlet before.

I better go read up on the regs now....

There are plenty of silvers to be caught. Fish in the shallows of inside bends and any frog water.
Your bait stinks and your boat is ugly

I'm going in the morning with a buddy from work. We're hoping just to catch atleast one silver!

We got two fish in the first 15 minutes and that was it for the whole day. My partners first two casts produced fish on, landed one. I landed one as well and everything shut down. Couldn't get anything to bite even though they were there.

How far down did you go? I went a few hundred yards downstream from the outlet and saw a guy standing in ankle deep water. That was sat evening and the sun was setting in my face...I turned around. Beautiful weekend on the lake though. Wife shot one Goldeneye as it landed in the deeks. We didn't even get the pole wet.
