There are actually alot of good user knives around. You can get a real dozier for around 200 bucks on www.bladeforums.com

The Boker/Dozier Anchorage is a fine knife. My hunting partner has one that he has used for two years now. Still sharp after dressing out a moose this fall.

I have a custom Dozier knife which I've been using for 15 years. It's my "every day" knife. And will still shave hair after dressing my moose this year.

Dozier knives are great buys for someone seeking a long term working man's knife. And Bob Dozier is a great guy to deal with.
