Smile Grandson and his first Grouse

Took my grandson out for his first hunt this weekend and he loved it , can you tell from his smile .
I bought his rifle for Christmas it is a single shot Crickett and he loves shooting it .
I had a great time with him and he did not even mind being soaked .

Awesome!!!!! I had my son out over the weekend to find grouse. While he's shot several already this year, you'd think every one was his first, he get's so excited. After he shot a ruffed off a branch with his little Rossi .410, I jokingly told him he had to shoot the next one on the wing. 30 minutes later, a spruce hen flushes to his right, he makes the swing and bam, nails it at about 15 yards! While he's walking back to the trail with the bird, he asks, "what do you want me to do next dad?".

These are the good ol' days we will remember!!!!!!!!!

Ranger Rick, cool hunting pics, your grandson looks as happy as he can be holding his first grouse, he will remember that hunt for the rest of his life.
