Default Fairbanks Retriever Club fall potluck & meeting

The Fairbanks Retriever Club's annual fall potluck and meeting will be held Friday, October 22, 2010, 6:30 p.m. at the Pioneer Hall in Pioneer Park (where the museum is). Dinner is potluck, so please bring a dish to share and join us! We'll elect our 2010-11 officers and board members, review the year, talk about the coming year, eat some great food and enjoy the company of fellow retriever enthusiasts. Lots of dog talk for sure!

Rumor has it that a couple folks are working on a video or slide show of the year's events/activities too.

FRC's spring retriever training classes will start indoors in March. Information will be posted on the Club's website (http://www.fairbanksretrieverclub.org) as it's available.

Karen is there some kind of list of what people should bring. I also tried to join the club but PAL site was not working for taking funds.

There's no list for what to bring -- we appreciate folks bringing anything & it usually works out great (typically quite a feast). The Hall has no kitchen facilities, but there are places to plug in crock pots & such. Folks can park inside Pioneer Park too. Just come in through the back, Moore Street gate, which is closest to the Carlson Center.

I'll ask the Club's website manager to check on the PayPal problem & get that straightened out, but it worked fine on Oct. 1st. There will be membership applications at the potluck too for those who wish to renew or join.

Look forward to seeing new & not-so-new faces alike!

    Default FRC online membership problem

Just heard from FRC's website manager & the online membership problem has been fixed. If anyone has problems with it, please contact her (link is on the website).
