    Default Blacktail deer regulations

Sorry if this seems like easy question or have been answered before but I am new to Alaska hunting regulations and I can't seem to find them. What are the deer hunting regs for residents on blacktail deer. I found one site that said you can take three a year but it didn't say when, how or what.

    Thanks again.

go to the state ADFG web site and read the regs, click on the unit on the map you are interested in hunting. deer are on the coast from kodiak island to the east near canada down in the panhandle. each unit is specific to the season and number of deer, number of bucks/does etc.

I had the full regs downloaded and read them in the area that we are planing and just didn't see anything. I didn't realize that there is only a few gmu that have deer. Thanks for the response and help.

Blacktail are only in GMU's 1-8, minus 7.
depends on the area anywhere from 1 to 5, depending on the location and time of the year.
