    Default coni bucket sets?

    anyone got pics of their bucket sets..do you use 280 or can you use a 330 for the bucket stuff...gonna toss some out later for wolverine and maybe lynx...

    I wouldn't use 280 on wolverines. I have never had any luck with kitties and coni's I use footholds and snares. cubbies with foot holds are my money maker for cats. A bird wing and some pacific coast works well. I have also done good on fox and lynx with a caribou or moose carcus and dump it off just off your trail so the birds can see it. Then I walk in trails with my snow shoes and snare those trails. Good luck.

    What otter said. Read trapperman wilderness living forum daily. Check archives.
    Wolverine................only 330s. Snare poles are also good. I think you got trees there, right.
    Lynx..............forget the coni's. Snares and foot holds. Learn snaring. Your lynx catch will be lower without snares.

    MT, glad you and Todd took care of that. Was gonna go try to dig up the pics of my buckets and gave up....

    Man, the archives on Tman are PRICELESS!!!! Should be a book just of the info there!

    I made this set last year, it was my first time out. I pulled three wolverines and two foxes from it. I have a few more pics I will post below.
