Those are some nice looking beavers though, not bad for a first days catch

Beaver opens mid-late September depending on the unit. Nice beaver tho! I have never targeted beaver but know of a few beaver houses close by I may have to go set some of my 330's near.

ouch 330's arent exactly cheap either. they are no #9 price but still pricey. I hate thieves I just had my trail cam stolen along with the tree it was attached to it seems someone thought that birch tree would make some good firewood and my trail cam would make a new addition to his hunting gear karma will come back to haunt them.

Our favorite game meat, Jake. Are the hides at all prime yet?

Nice beavers you got there. They should make fine hats.

Spring beaver trapping is awesome fun with kids. I brought my daughter along for a trap check this past spring and we got 10. Pulling up the drowning wire with my daughters help, not knowing if we had a catch or not, was the most fun I've had in a long time.

I won't make a profit from those hides between gas, gear, shipping, and tanning, but you cannot put a price on those kind of memories.

Yeah, it just sucks when your head outgrows your hair. I imagine a beaver hat would be a good answer to that affliction.

Those are bigguns! Does the wife sew?
Half a beaver on the end of a snare pole, with appropriate size snare, works well for wolverine.
