What is the Speer manual MAX load for the 350gr FN in the Ruger #1 in 45-70?
What powder??Here a link could dig around in.I use 50 grn,s of 3031, 400 grn. speer bullet. Big gun,s like big bullets, slow and heavy will go in further than light and fast. Also look up Garrett,s Web site they do better job. explaining than i can. Some times Max, is not always the best or the most accurate.
Page 707 in book #14 is tested in a Ruger #1 with a 22" barrel. You will need to tune accordingly for your rifle. These loads are not to be used in a trap door or lever action. The loads are claimed to be for strong actions only. The Ruger was tested as a strong action in the Speer data.

SAAMI COL is listed as 2.550, yours can be adjusted as necessary. Speer list the Ruger #1 as COL 2.710". You asked for maximum loads so I assume you want speed. The following loads are the fastest six in the book on page 709. They list 11 powders for the 350gr MTSP weight.

settled with 52.0 of IMR 4198 with the 350gr Speer FN......had to get some Warne rings for the scope the Ruger rings were letting the scope shift backwards.......recoil heavy!
