Default Taking the kids for their first fly fishing day

Got to get my two daughters started flyfishing. We are heading out tomorrow--just trying to figure out where. It has to be in the Parks highway/mat-Su area. Easiest access (on foot) and what to use for them to be successful??

    Thanks,

    TD

    How old are they?

My 5 year old has caught fish on a fly rod, but does a better with a spinning rod/bobber/fly setup. I'd seriously consider a lake and use wooly buggers. Kepler Bradley would work, or there are certainly a lot of little lakes if you head up the glen or the parks that would fish well too. Using adfg stocking list works well.

Find out where the pinks are and get those girls to cast a little upstream of them. Can't help but have a good time.
