Default Last minute T.A.G. bags in Anchorage....

Does anyone know where I can get a set of Moose sized T.A.G. bags in Anchorage? If no on the TAG bags, what about some heavy duty cotton ones? I need to find some by the end of the business day!

I called Sportsman and they are all out and Mark is out playing in the Wiggy Van until the 21st.

    Thanks

go to a thrift store (or 2) value village, salvation army, bishop's attic, etc.

buy some cotton pillow cases and sheets. get 8 or 10 for the cost of one "game bag"

the game bags I use for moose quarters are made from sheets, cut and then sewn at the edges in about 5 minutes. so that's not a last minute deal but I can't but laugh at how much people will pay for cotton cloth these days...

Wow, I was beginning to think I was the only one out there that was too cheap to buy bags. I have bags home made from heavy cotton sheet material that have lasted for years. they are more durable than store bought bags, after the hunt I throw them in the washer with a healthy dose of bleach and they are ready for next year. Course they get a kick out of them at the processors since they have pink stripes on them, but it is easy to find my bags in the meat piles.

Shoot Mark Taylor a PM or call Wiggy's alaska tomorrow after 11am I believe. He has tag bags and is in anchorage, just north of Dimond on Old seward. Up on the right just past Starbucks, no further and than the chevron station.
