    Default 13 Sep Palmer report

Clear skies 40 degrees going out zero wind. Ducks that came in were doubles and a few singles. Was impressed how many flocks that we did see all too far but 10-13 different flocks so they are moving. They were mostly coming from the flats and Coffee Point a few would drop down west of Duck Lake. No Cranes but saw 2 different flocks of Geese one going towards us and low but changed direction to Duck Lake area and one leaving heading towards inlet they were low. We finished with 8. Mallards, Pintails, Goldeneye. Even in this weather the birds are picking up.

You must have one heck of a honey hole! Congrats on a great hunt. I was on the east end of duck lake on Saturday morning and didn't see much at all. I don't even think I saw a Mallard all morning, just a few spoonies, widgeon and a teal or two. Keep up the great work! Hopefully the birds are starting to show!
