oK, shot moose at 8:15am sat....skinned, processed rest of beast and put two front legs in bathroom standing up at 62 - 70 degrees to get the hardened skin on the outside as I saw natives do it in kaltag....BUT, my native friends are out hunting, so i forgot the rest of the process!!!! how long do i let the leg sit there? I remember that she pulled the outer hardened skin off the leg....then stripped and put in bag with flavoring/seasonings for 1/2 day????????? then hung in smoke house???? Or in your own house also I've heard? but how are you cutting them, etc...
