Well I am new to jet boating and was curious on what spare parts to carry. Right now I have extra fuel line, fuel connectors, spare plugs, tools, file, fuses.

Well, as an outboard jet driver, I carry a spare impeller, liner and even a spare foot. I have broken two feet over the years, and one good session with rocks can take the edge of the impeller and ruin the liner.

Ditto on what snowtigger says... A must, plus I always carry a new or spare water pump impeller, duct tape or gorilla tape, electric tape, and I also like this new emergency hose repair stuff (although I haven't pick it up yet, I will) . Obviously you also want the tools you'll need to access all this stuff. I leatherman alone won't be enough but will help in a real pinch.

Another thing I've had recommended to me to carry is extra shear keys for your impeller.

The best thing to do is drag a spare jet boat behind you because no matter how many spare parts I carry, I never seem to have the one I need.

Not sure what kind of engine were talking about. I carry a spare battery, alt belt, stomp grate springs and main relay. Plus a few items already mention. Battery most imporant!
