Default Need several hearts and livers... in FAIRBANKS

hey all... My kids have a special assignment for missing so much school out hunting. both of their science teachers have asked for hearts and livers to work on in class.... ( Brian M can appreciate this) we have dropped of two of each so far but there is no way i can shoot enough to cover at least one for each class 6 periods x 2 teachers... so if your not using it? please drop them in a white trash bag and i will take them off your hands!!! unless of course there is not much of one left. moose, bou, bear, what ever!!!!!!!!

this is the first year the middle school has been receptive to any of my kids hunting, i guess the last two years with the oldest has finally sunk in with them, or perhaps some of the staff has finally been here long enough...

Yep, I can appreciate that. I've received three donated hearts so far this year, but for those hunters in the Anchorage/Eagle River area, I'll take as many as I can get. If in Fairbanks, call Vince. If farther south, call me.

Hey Vince, fired up the Blaze King last weekend. Works great....after I vacumed the rest of that squirrels nest out and "un siezed" the damper. Cleaned up real nice with some sanding and high heat paint. Gonna be REAL nice this winter when it's -30! Sorry for the off topic...

    Vince,

I will check with you late next week. If you are going to be around your claim and I am successful with my cow tag, I can save the heart and liver for you. We can get together somewhere on the mountain.

If I should be so blessed by the hunting Gods, I'll donate. Only time will tell

Steve, what's your preferred method for preparing the 'lickers'?

Cooked slow, like pulled pork. Ate on tortillas with fresh onion and cilantro.

No, did a boat hunt with a friend. That is his 62 inch bull. Hope to join up with someone next year to use the OX.

I'm sure the Mudd-Ox will make a killer hunting machine.I'm sure it won't be hard to find a partner once you show them the OX.
