Default Upper Kenai plugging for silvers

Have always fished the upper Kenai slack areas and backwater with streamers and spinners for silvers. Has anyone fished the slower slots of the Upper with plugs and had any luck??? I have a drift boat and thought the oarsman could fish a plug out of one side of the boat and the front guy could be running his bead out the other.

Just thought I'd try again and see if anyone had ever tried or has had any luck running hot shots or wiggle warts for silvers in the upper Kenai? If so, any recomendations on colors or size. Thanks.

I hooked a silver from shore today in the middle kenai area with a orange wiggle wart. I think k-15 kwikfish are your best option. I saw a couple guide boats limit out with their clients casting and retrieving these.
