    Default Knuckle Buster

I discovered the hard way, what a "knuckle buster" was on my first day ever fly fishing for salmon in Clear Creek. Big Chum Salmon put it to me! Thanks Fishbone Charters for a wonderful trip.

Did you stay right at the mouth and fish, or did you hike upstream at all? Any 'bows and/or dollies?

    Congrats on a great trip!

Caught a few at the mouth but had much better luck upstream. Too crowded. Had the upstream place to ourselves. Chum were thick, in shallow. Silvers in a little deeper water and a few bow's and dolly's there too.

Nice, I have a reel I call the knuckle buster (it has a real weak drag), happens almost every time I use it!
