Last weekend was a bust to much rain. Make sure you check the water conditions. Montana was high and muddy as of Sunday I only hooked up with one silver. I do not know about the reat of the streams.

Try Anchor River-no bait though Herring was the ticket last weekend. Go EARLY!

Were you soaking eggs or using kwikfish? I fished saturday night and sunday morning down by eagle rock soaking eggs without even 1 bite. Might have to switch tactics.

Fished lower Kenai last Friday and Sat. Friday was good. Many fish caught. Sat. was a little slower but still not bad. Fished with eggs. Saw people (mostly charters) using Kwiks. They hooked up as well.

    geoff156,
I was fishing 4 miles upriver of Eagle Rock.Using a couple different egg cures ,large red/black stripped S_N_G with a 2 foot leader, orange yarn in the egg loop, only 20 feet from the bank.Search for the travel lane and when you find it you're golden.3 oz. allowed me to work very specific spots to find the lane.Keep searching and good luck.
