Default Aluminum to Stainless prop questions

So I went from a 13 pitch 11.1 aluminum to a 14 pitch 11 1/4 stainless. My WOT went from 6100 with the aluminum to 5400ish with the stainless. I like to run at 5200 to 5400 but would like to wot at 5800 so I dont bog down on swells. If I drop down to a 13 pitch stainless would that be enough or would I need to go to a 12. I have a 50 honda on a 19ft harbercraft. Thanks

13 SS should be perfect. I have a slightly used one I could sell you.
The emphasis is on accuracy, not power!

Why do you want to switch to stainless?? I'm a big advocate of aluminum props for outboards on account of the rare case I'd hit a rock or something, the soft aluminum sacrifices itself before the lower unit. SS props can cause gear damage with a rock strike...

But Marv is right, if you're sold on the SS, the 13 should be fine.

I do like aluminum for anything but when I am in the ocean. It is not hard to switch. The ss will give me a little more speed and better out of the hole with weight of abunch of fish.
