Thought I would share something I picked up at the grocery before heading out guys may want to consider for any hunt. Jack Daniel's marinade bags. Simply delicious over a campfire...grab a few handfuls of sliced up meat, toss it in the bag and wait until you can't wait anymore.

Scope bite or not...you still did what you set out to do and came home with a good story and trophy ta boot.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

Well done Jimmy, very nice Ram. You will remember that Ram every time you see that scope mouse in the mirror. Hard to beat the flavor of fire roast sheep while enjoying the mountains.

    Congrats to you both.

Don't stop now. Measurements? Story? You still got some bragging to do with bragging size critters like those 2.

    Jimmy,
Thanks for the pics. Beautiful ram and boo. Now what rifle and caliber were you shooting? I've done the same thing, usually when prone off my pack. It sets up the forehead for another "beauty mark". Way to go guys, a great trip!

Wow, nice old ram. So were you guys fighting over the first shot when he hit you in the eye?
I come home with an honestly earned feeling that something good has taken place. It makes no difference whether I got anything, it has to do with how the day was spent. Fred Bear
