Default Wife said she heard a Beaver has gone missing.

I just got back to the house. My lovely bride said she heard something about a Beaver that has gone missing over by Katmi.
Anyone know the deal on this ,, Maybe she was hearing about something else..

the only thing I have heard is that a beaver is missing. A buddy of mine is a C-130 pilot and he was launched early this morning on it. He and his crew did not find anything. I hope for the best.

I got scared as I read your post because I have a freind who flys Beavers over there, but this is not him.

I hope it all works out.

    Sh*t.

I've spent a lotta time in that plane, and was scheduled to be on it again in 3 days...

30 hours missing, with no contact...

    ...Not good.

I posted the latest as of a day ago on the other thread "update" in bush flying. There will be another press release this afternoon. The Alaska and national press has pretty much forgotten about it, except for Nationalparkstraveler.com. There are still over 60 people assigned and over fifteen aircraft flying, plus the coast guard. I guess they'd rather talk about Levi and Bristol and how that Hollywood nitwit got arrested for coke in Las Vegas.

And yes, the two police officers killed in Hoonah, too
