Default Got my first Wolf Today!!!!

I have been on vacation all this week so I have been going out everyday looking for some grouse. When I went out yesterday I spotted a little group of 3 coyotes so Today when I went out I took my AR-15 just in case I saw them again, Well to my surprise this big lone female wolf is out and about So I did some lip squeaks and she came running towards me so I gave her 1 shot to the boiler maker she did the death spin for about 3 seconds and was out. This is my first wolf ever and was a huge suprise to me as I have never seen or even heard of wolves in the area that I was in. Our wolf season here opened back up just 2 days ago on the 10th for those wondering because I know its still not open in some units..

My AR has a 20 inch barrel just to give you an idea on size...

With that being said since it is my first wolf I would like to case skin it for a wall hanger but dont want to completely ruin it so if anyone in the Fairbanks/Fox North pole area would like to give me a hand I will pay ya or buy you a case of your favorite adult beverage

Great job on the moose muncher!!! Put the word out locally as there are LOTS of trappers in your area that will lend you a hand. If you can't find someone let me know and I can make some phone calls...
