Default Anyone Purchase a boat at the Show?

Just curious if any Forum members purchased a new boat at the Anchors Away boat show that is going on at the Northway Mall this week?
    What did you purchase?

I almost pulled the trigger on getting power for my Tolman skiff. Just might do that before the show is over.

I had planned on a suzuki 140, but the pricing on the late model 115's is tempting.

Paul, before you do check out the prices on outboards in Washington state. I bought my last small one (10 hp high thrust) down there and even if I had to pay shipping to Anchorage it was $400 cheaper than Deweys.

I'd thought about that, but figure with service, getting it dialed in et al I'm better getting it locally.

I'm leaning hard towards the Suzuki 115 and a Tohatsu 9.8 for the kicker. Since I want to use the kicer for a tender the lighter weight of the Tohatsu is a plus, not to mention a couple hundred less than the suzi 9.9.

    Default Motor Purchase

    Snowwolfe,

Do you remember the name of the company you purchased that motor through?

No I dont. But just go to Yamaha's web site and do a search for dealers in the Seattle to Bellingham area. You may need a zip code.
Then all I did was call each one till I found a price I liked and bought the motor using my CC.
I do remember the dealer was slightly north of Seattle.

    Default 3 river marine

I bought a motor last year at 3 river marine http://www.3riversmarine.com/home saved myself a grand from local suppliers. Cost for shipping Northland was just over $100 for a yamaha 50.

    Default Yes, but waited.

Ya, got a boat from the show, but not until after. Research time and shopping took a bit. Just closed on a North River Commander 21.6. Now time for add on toys while waiting on ice to melt.
