PM sent what HP are planning to power JB with? Have you spent any time in JB they always looked like a workhorse.

I will use a 30hp on the James Bay. I will ask $8000 for the HB with a trailer and a 20hp honda, and acessories like extra propp etc...

Would love to have a James bay! But I'll never part with my Hudson bay!

I think I have finally decided to move up to the JB, and might advertise my HB with the honda 20hp.

    I'm betting:
    1) you want more room (vs. having a load capacity problem)
    2) you spend more time on big water than small water
    3) you'll have no problem finding a good home for your HB

    Do I get 1, 2, or 3 points?

Correct on all points. I think I'll start at an asking price of $8000 with 09 honda 20hp and trailer, we will see if it moves

Please PM me with the web address of the advert you place, wherever that would be. Down here we use this forum site, craigslist.com, and alaskaslist.com.

Don't confuse me with a buyer. I'm happy with my Albany. Its just that these Scotts come up for sale so darn rarely that I like to keep my pulse on the market.

Just gave $5300 for mine. Boat and trailer only. 2010 leftover, I thought it to be a good deal

$5300 Hmmm. Last one in Whitehorse two weeks ago was quoted just under $5200 without trailer. You must have gotten a "real" good deal.

Good luck grit. This could be a "movement".

Was thinking a 30hp or 40 hp on a JB,checked on the price of a 40 hp 4-stroke,wow $7000 for a honda or yamaha, might have to rethink this, would have to sell my whole HB package just for the cost of a 4 stroke for a JB

Was a very good deal. Fellow that bought it had never put it in the water. I am putting a 9.9 Johnson remote on her with lever steering from the center seat. I will post pics when she's done.

    Hey Piscataquis ...

What is remote "lever steering"? Like to see pics. Is it a homemade system or store bought?
