    Default Galbraith Lake?

    Can you drive right to the lake?Is the campground at the lake?Any good fishing?

    Yes you can drive very close to it.
    Campground ...yes. It is a no-cost, "unimproved" area with camp sites the pipeline construction days.
    I am not aware of fish in the lake itself.

    Man, its a caribou area or a "staging" area to prepare for sheep hunts. To put up with wind like that at G. Lake, I got to be hunting. Heck with fishing in the wind and/or bugs. Camped there four times, never saw anybody with a fishing rod.

    Just my quick, from the hip, remarks concerning your question.

    I Will be hunting,didnt know if I should throw a rod in.How close is close?

    I never fished it but i know there are fish, my friends at the pumpstation fish on their days off. by the way youre gana be to busy hunting and packing meat to fish man, may see you up there im headn up the 19th

    Grayling, Burbot, & Lakers in Galbraith Lake. The Lakers don't get very big because Galbraith is relatively shallow. Toolik Lake, just up the road, is very deep and produces some big fish.

    Tee Lake (unofficial name) right next to Pump 4 has some nice grayling fishing and burbot too.
