    Default Limit of silvers...

I got going this morning at about 4 am and hit the road. Got to my spot and began fishing, changing things up every so often. I hit this spot earlier this week and had no luck but knew there were fish. It took a few hours and I finally nailed my first silver on a fly! Too bad it wasn't one I had tied up. They must not have liked what I had to offer. I went smaller and sparse and picked up two silvers pretty quickly.

I kept fishing and caught two nice chums after the silvers and two chums earlier in the morning for a total of four! Everything caught on the same fly. I turned all the chums back as I didn't think they'd be any good for eating.

Also, here's a nice pink that took my homemade fly from the other day at the same spot.

Hey, when I came by last night June said you were sleeping. LOL! I actually had planned on seeing if you wanted to go though. Anyway, those silvers sure are picky eaters! I went through a dozen different flies, colors, different drifts and presentations, etc. I caught both fish in the same exact spot doing the same exact thing. Those fish are funny. Couldn't get a pink to eat anything today. I had more luck with the chums and silvers than the pinks, and there were hundreds of them! Good day though, pretty happy with another goal accomplished.

went and fished yesterday from about noon-7 and landed tons and tons of pinks! Some chums, a few nasty old kings and fianlly after 6.5 freakin hours caught 1 rainbow about 16". Made my day! Didn't get any silvers though, good work! I'm still searching for a good spot to hit silvers that isn't packed with people. Nice work!

I normally share every bit of info I got. Mossy texted me this morning very proud of himself. He earned these and asked me not to say where. I will leave it up to him and respect his wishes. I will say this. Road system yes and not more than 100 miles from anchorage

Fishing for pinks wasn't worth a darn. They wouldn't take anything you threw at them. I had better luck with the silvers and chums. I hear Hope is really good for pinks right now if that's what you're after.

I would but thats out of my moms 'way' and so im most likely going out in the scanoe and riding around. OR caswell creek always worked for me with silvers. But ill do CP&R with the silvers for shure as we already have the freezer plenty filled.

What were you fishing? Thats a long time for a single bow in this state, but it happens.

Dude, don't buy a TFO. I just broke mine AGAIN this morning on a freaking pink, and it's an 8 wt!!! I broke it on the russian once and then again today after using it once inbetween getting it back. It's the Lefty Kreh $250 rod. I would highly advise against buying that rod. I bought an echo and have been using that and it seems to be a much better rod for cheaper.
