    Default Floating on the Chena.

Hi. I am new to this forum and been here in FBKS for 29 years. I go down to Greahl landing a lot and see people floating down the River. My daughter bought a small raft and I have a innertube. We have paddles. I love to try this sometime . Does one come out down by the University bridge behind Alaska land? I think so,just want to make sure. And about how long would that take ?
    Thank you for your advise.

Welcome to the forum! I don't live in your area so I don't really know the river, but this link should help you.http://dnr.alaska.gov/parks/units/chena/river.htm You can go to the search on the top of the forum page and look back into the posts from the past.
    Have fun!

yes, you can float to Alaskaland (pioneer park) in a couple hours. You can go on down river to the campground at the University Ave bridge in about 3 hours, or float all the way to Pike's Landing.
