    Default charter open seat?

I'm looking for a charter for the 13th or 14th of August out of anywhere on the KP. I'm looking to spend around $200, not looking to win a derby just catch some freezer filler. Please PM me if you have any ideas, openings or recommendations. Thanks, Tyler

I'm booked both of those days, but try Jim Lavrakas at Skookum Charters---http://www.akskookumcharters.com. Jim is a great guy and knows where the fish are (I tell him ALL of my secrets---LOL!).

Okay, I called Jim and he doesn't have anything. Anyone else have any recommendations, openings or suggestions. I'd really rather not start cold calling random charters.

I'd try Bob's Trophy Charters and see if you can get on with Josh Brooks on the Huntress. That guy know where the fish are and has had a couple of good derby entries. I don't have a number or website for him (do a Google search), but he is just down the dock from me. Also maybe Mike at Spirit Charters (http://www.spiritcharters.com/). He is in the slip right across from mine and he's a really nice guy and gets good fish. Also try Tony at Falcon Charters (http://www.falconcharters.com/). He is in the slip next to Mike and he's a good guy, too. Probably get you into some good fish. He tends to go WAY out near Perl and that area. Big butt territory.

    captain pete at 399-6001.
if he can't fit you in he will find someone who can, and anyone he steers you to will be good too.

Looks like I've got one lined up out of Ninilchik. Thanks for all the good leads.
