    Smile Dickson-Howa Golden Bear

A short while ago there was a deal that "I couldn't refuse" and I ended up with a Dickson-Howa Golden Bear in .308. I read a few threads that referred to a Howa or a Howa action and that they are a copy of a Sako. I didn't read of any personal experience with them, though. Anyone have any comments about the Howa in .308? I may use it this year for Caribou. Haven't shot it yet.

    Thanks
    Mike

The Howa action was used by Weatherby for years on their lower end guns. You may still be able to buy the barreled actions from Brownells, not sure
Now left only to be a turd in the forrest and the circle will be complete.Use me as I have used you

Mark Bansner used to use Howa actions for some of his rifles and he was very pleased (personal communication) with their accuracy.
