Thread: Saying Goodbye

    Default Saying Goodbye

Kenai, rest in peace beginning 7/28/2010.

Before the dawn breaks, may your cold October mornings be filled with the whistle of teal, wood duck and mallard wings soaring just above your muzzle.

As the sun beats down over golden rows of corn, may your warm October afternoons be filled with the thunder of Ringnecks exploding from under your paws.

As twilight approaches, may your chilly October evenings be filled with the roar of a shotgun downing one more Canadian goose pulling at your instinct to give chase and fill your mouth with soft down.

May the remainder of your time be filled with feelings of love from us.

Kenai, Ruler of Cedar, AKC #SN44000706, thanks from our family for the joy you brought us.

What a fine dog and a fitting tribute for your friend. I'm sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing with us, and may your memory of Kenai and the times you had together bring you comfort and smiles for the rest of your years.
