    Default off the beaten path

if anybody wants a challenging hike, try this one in turnagain pass. park at the lot with the restrooms on the skier side of the seward highway. cross lyon creek bridge a short way from the parking lot, and work your way up away from the highway. the top of the ridge between lyon and tincan creeks has a super view of the headwaters, and you can hike all the way back to make a long day of it. there's some serious bushwhackin in and out to the ridge, and a few steep spots. take your camera.

Awesome! I take it the "trail" on the topo map is not there anymore? Or is it really overgrown?

    Default not really a trail

somebody has cut some brush here and there, i think for winter ski trails. not really a trail like there are in some places. most of it is just bushwhackin straight to where you want to go.
