Default Camping on Elmendorf AFB, AK

Finally got some time off from work to take the new camper out. Didn't go far, maybe 1/2 a mile from the house how convenient. Everything worked great, even got the heater to work which was great since it was in the 50's. Found a water leak on the city water inlet but got that fixed up. Even fixed up an awning for us since it rained the whole time. Realized that airbags are a must, guess those old campers are heavy. Also I need to invest in some leveling blocks. Hauling all those wood blocks sucked.

    Poor mans awning...

    Need some better steps too.

Where did you camp at EAFB? The only place I know of is over on the Ft. Rich side. Just wondering. Thanks!

Over by the Hospital there is the FAMCAMP. Something like 60 sites I think. Just past the BX can't miss it.

Camper looks good, man. Family looks quite content! Dog too.

Agree with you about the air bags as a safety item.
Everytime I pump those Air Lifts up, I can't believe I drove without them.
I think Karen's RV put ours in maybe.

Have a great season in your rig.
