Anyone float from the train drop off back to the highway? How long does it take?

I floated it last year with my family and neighbors. Here's the post:

It's a fun trip. The only real drawback is the cost of the 20 minute train ride. There are coupons in the Entertainment Coupon Book that provide 2 for 1 pricing. Also, make sure you have some type of wheeled cart to haul your gear the 1.5 miles from the station to the lake.

Too bad the ARR doesn't offer a cheaper one-way fair into the glacier.

Just did it in a packraft last weekend. the float only takes a few hours so it's an easy day trip. The spencer glacier area is pretty developed w/ campsites, making an overnighter a good option. The parks plan is to put up some yurts out there I beleive. Beautiful trip though, worth the train ride in. if you're feeling really cheap and want a workout you can just bushwack to the spencer glacier from tincan peak off the seward highway. The packraft forum has beta on that option
