    Default Kenai Float yesterday

Had a chance to meet another forum member and float the Kenai yesterday, went with Slim Wallet, who is actually on a 2 week vacation and had never floated it before! More fish would have been nice but it was a good day all in all. Meet up with alaskachuck and had some laughs and learned a few things! Caught one nice big red and a nice 20-21" rainbow.

Yea wasn't my net, I don't even have one yet. Where can I find one of the rubber ones that is shallow big has a big radius on it?

I got my 5' long rubber bag C&R net at Sportsmans for less than $25.00 the first year they opened. I have a quick question for you about the raft. Is that a homemade rod holster tied to the left side of the frame? Nice fish by the way. Tight lines.

yea is a custom rod holder, my dad just cut out the top half of some PVC pipe, put a cap on both ends. On the back end I put a screw in it with some stretch cord attached and stretch it over the reel to hold it in place. Don't cut out all the pvc the whole way tho, leave some at both ends to protect your rod tip and some at the back for your rob but to slide under. Keeps it in place better.

Mossy's has a rubber net as well that will measure fish up to 40" but is not to big and it's light weight
