    Default f115 lower unit

    What's a fair price for a used 2004 F115 lower unit? (25" shaft)

I chocked when Dewey's quoted $1,500 for a new one... If - "and I mean IF" I find a used one what would be a fair price? And when I say used I mean a used but not broken unit.

    Thanks, Winmag

if there is a used one around you have to ask what happened to the rest of the motor. if you know he just wanted to keep his jet foot thats another thing. but if the top was blown up or something you may not want his trash. so maybe 600 if it was in top shape and had some kind of warranty that you could take it back if it broke within say a month. other wise find a rebuilt by a top shop or bite the bullet and get a new one.

Half price of new is basically the norm for used in good working condition...
The emphasis is on accuracy, not power!
