Thread: Miles Lake to Klutina/Glukana?

    Question Miles Lake to Klutina/Glukana?

Ok I realize this is highly variable but how long does everyone think it takes a red to reach the Klutina and Gulkana from the Copper river counter at Miles Lake? I was guessing 4 weeks for the Klutina and 5 for the Gulkana? Just wanted to gather a few opinions on it.

When I was down there fishing in June, the locals seemed to think about 3 weeks. Looking at the numbers, that seemed about right. The fishing was hot about 3 weeks after the 20k+ days at Miles Lake in early June.

It all depends though, water level, fish mood, etc...

I am going up tomorrow for a day trip, I will let you know how it is. I hope I can catch a few on the leading edge of the second push.
