I especially liked this part:
When "daily use" of the area by outdoor enthusiasts is mentioned, why are trappers automatically excluded? Do we not have the same rights as other law-abiding Alaska residents concerning the use of public land? Alaska is supposed to be for all Alaskans.
I say it's time we quit looking for the deepest darkest hole to hide in. Trapping is a valid activity and if some irresponsible pet owner (like in Kasilof) gets their dog caught, that ain't the trappers fault most often.
